No books for me. :(

I went to the bookstore yesterday because I had a 30% off coupon burning a hole in my pocket. And I couldn't find anything to buy! Shocking! Twin's eyes bugged out a little when I came home empty-handed. What's wrong with me?

Everything I picked up I put back on the shelf, deciding that I had something similar already in the TBR that sounded better. Maybe that means my TBR is too big... I do have some books in there I just know are going to be fantastic. But that doesn't keep me from wanting to buy more books.

So, anyone bought anything exciting lately?

The last exciting thing I bought was Brockmann's All Through the Night.

I had a 30% off coupon that went unused this weekend, too. D'you think those poor unused coupons are feeling rejected and unloved?

Oh, that sucks. I think that your TBR may be too big.

Oh, Jennie, you were one day early! the new In Death is coming out today! I don't know if you follow that series, but I think so... and LOL, I'm an impulsive buyer, so a 30%off coupon rarely go unused unless I'm saving it for a special occasion... When does it expire? As long as you can still use it, going home empty hand is okay :D

I'm borrowing Ravished by Amanda Quick and Marriage Most Scandalous by Johanna Lindsey from my boyfriend's mom, any thoughts on these?

jmc--The coupon definitely felt unloved. But I know that Borders will send me another one next weekend. I always get excited, and then Twin tells me I'm a sucker for going there every time I have a coupon. But I don't care. ;)

Chantal--Yeah, it is. I know it is, but that doesn't stop me from getting more books.

Nath--I'm way behind on the In Death series -- I think I'm on #6 now. I might catch up in the next decade or so. ;)

Andrea--I haven't read either of those. I've actually never read any Lindsey, which seems odd as she's such a big name in romance. I have enjoyed a couple by Quick, though I think I like her contemps a bit better. I hope you enjoy them!
